BMI is a term that has been entering our discussion quite frequently, especially in media. It is the body mass index, wherein the body fat is calculated based on the height and weight of the person. In common parlance this is known as obesity, overweight caused by excessive storage of fat in the body. What made the world turn its attention to this obesity? Obesity is mainly caused when the body’s calorie intake is more that calories expended.
